Jeroen Sterke is the owner of Jeroentje.nl, a well-known company and team in the dutch tuning community. We spoke with him about his Maxda RX7 with which he will once again attend the ToyoTires Time Attack competition in 2010. In 2009 he certainly proved himself when he set a 1:59.005 lap time at TT Circuit Assen during the Time Attack of the Japanese Car Festival.
 

With that lap time Jeroen won the Semi-Pro class. But aside from that he had beaten all of the dutch Pro competetors as well! Only two cars were quicker that day, Bob Morre (1:51.790) and James Nicholls (1:55.181), both experienced drivers from the UK Time Attack.

In 2010 the ToyoTires Time Attack will be expanded with a new class; the Extreme class. To put it blank; everything goes here. Due to this expansion several cars from the Pro class are moved over into this Extreme class, other Semi-Pro drivers are moved up to the Pro and several new amateur drivers are given an oppurtunity to prove themselves in the Semi-Pro. Due to the proven capabilities of both the car and the driver we certainly expect to see Jeroen and his RX7 in the Pro class, perhaps even in the Extreme.
