Once every while we come across a car which has a base that is pretty common, but has been given a unique style of its own. Katjana and Mark from Misshonda-photography got the oppurtunity to spot one of these cars. This Honda Civic EK was bought by Tim as his first car. Slowly he started to modify it to his own taste, some lowering springs here, an exhaust there... and yes, he got infected with the tuning virus. The spec list of modifications he made to the civic has grown to a very impressive size. Tim also made sure that the quality of the car grew to the same impressive level.
The original engine was due to some mechanical problems replaced with a JDM B18C-R engine... not something to be ashamed of indeed, with an original performance of 210hp. Tim was driving around with a Buddyclub bumperkit for a while, but when those parts got damaged and some rust appeared on some parts of the car, he quickly made sure his precious would survive another large number of years. The car got a fresh coat of paint.
And once again the impressive works of AJ's Autobody & Paint were unleashed on a car from the tuning team Streetgasm. The new 'macademia effect porsche' color certainly gives the car a nice JDM feel. The bumperkit was replaced by the good old OEM parts with some added Type R parts.
The interior received a set of Bride Cuga seats with QSP 4 point seatbelts. Together with the cleaned rear and the combination of the X-bar and harness bar that Ape Garage built, it makes one hell of a nice interior look.
